Closed from Christmas to New Years

Thanks to everyone that came to the Holiday Party this weekend. It was a blast! Just a reminder that this will be our last week before the holiday break. We will be closed from Christmas to New Years. This Saturday will be our last class. We will reopen on Tuesday, January 2nd. Enjoy the holidays!

Holiday Party

Hootenanny on the Hill

Just a reminder that we will be at Hootenanny on the Hill this weekend.  It starts at 12:00 PM and goes until 5:00 PM at Haupt Park (450 Haupt) in Plum Creek.  Come find us at our booth and demonstrate the raw power of our school by breaking a board!

Closed Saturday (8/26)

So I think we're going to close the school tomorrow (Saturday 8/26).  Not sure what to make of the weather reports, but if they are even partially true, best to play it safe.  We should be open on Monday, but we will let you know if that changes.

It's Monday!

Hey guys,

Just wanted to send out a reminder that I'm back, and we will have class all week, starting today, Monday, July 10th!  We're still trying to figure out what happened to Master Seonok's knee.  She's going in for an MRI this week.  Hopefully, we'll know more afterwards.  Thanks for the huge show of support while I was out of town.  So many people said they could help take her to the hospital.  I literally think it was almost the entire school!  You guys truly embody the warrior spirit!  We are blessed to have such great students.

Master Seonok Injured

Hey everyone,

I just got a call from Master Seonok.  It sounds like she really injured her knee tonight during class.  She is unable to walk at the moment.  I'm going to try to get someone to take her to hospital tomorrow, but with me having just arrived here in Las Vegas, I feel I have no option but to cancel class until I get back on Sunday. Classes will resume on Monday, the 10th.  Sorry about this.

Class Cancellations

Hey everyone, we will be closed a few days this month.  There will be no class tomorrow in celebration of the 4th of July.  We will also be closed on Saturday, due to Kyle Market Days.  We will be closed again on the 27th due to the Schlitterbahn Trip.  However, we will be open Wednesday through Friday this week.  Master Seonok will be filling in for me.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

Group Outing: Pinballz Kingdom

Hey Taekwondo Family,

This upcoming Saturday (the 18th) is the date of our next monthly group outing! I was sad to be out of town for the last one at EVO Entertainment, but I heard it was a blast. This time, we’re having it at Pinballz Kingdom just a little bit north of us in Buda. The location is 15201 S. Interstate 35, Buda, TX 78610, and we'll start things off at 11:00 AM. Please meet at the entrance by the red dragon. (There will be no class this Saturday.)

I’ve never been to Pinballz, but it comes very highly recommended by a few of our students. They have over a hundred different games and stations, an outdoor lasertag arena, plus burgers, stone baked pizzas, weekend BBQ, and a traditional Biergarten! It’s a very family friendly place. Whether you’re excited to best me in Mortal Combat, or lead our dojang’s team to victory in the laser tag arena, I’m looking forward to seeing you all there!

Delivery was a success!  There will be class tonight (just no Oneway). I will bring pictures if anyone is interested.

Baby is on the Way

The baby is on the way! Sorry, but class is canceled for today the 23rd but will probably be back on for tomorrow. Will keep you posted.

Personal Note

As you know, Master Seonok is days away from delivery.  Our baby boy will be coming sometime this week, if not, early next week.  For this reason, we may have to suddenly close for a few days.  My apologies in advance.

Testing on Saturday

Bowling at EVO

We will headed to EVO Entertainment (3200 Kyle Crossing, Kyle, TX 78640) for some bowling this weekend, Sunday. All are welcome; feel free to bring the whole family. Master Seonok and I will arrive there around 12:00 PM. If we are not in the lobby, please look for us on the lanes. After a game or two, we plan watch a movie with those interested.
